We’ve moved!
New name. New office. 50 years of local roots.
You may have noticed a new name on Gerringong’s main street!
Travel Focus Group is now Travel Focus Gerringong, and we’ve officially settled into our beautiful new home at Shop 2, 131 Fern Street, Gerringong.
The move has been a fantastic success, and after a couple of weeks in our new office, we’re absolutely loving being right in the heart of town. But while the office and name may be new, our local roots go back a very long way.
Celebrating 50 years of travel
Our story can be traced back to 1976, when Bob and Pam Daniel established Guidepost Tours on the NSW South Coast.
The next chapter came under Greg and Rachel McCarthy, who built on those foundations and grew the business significantly, expanding its corporate, leisure, touring and events operations and establishing it as the successful and highly regarded travel business it is today.
Over the five decades since, the business has evolved through the Daniel, McCarthy and Godfrey families, but one thing has remained constant:
Local people helping local people see the world.
In 2018, Peta Godfrey purchased the Gerringong leisure business and created Travel Focus Group. Eight years later, Travel Focus Gerringong feels like the perfect name for our next chapter and reflects exactly who we are and the community we are so proud to be part of.
